How to clean marker ink from clothes?

Oil-based whiteboard marker:

Use a paper towel to soak up wet ink to prevent spreading.

Apply alcohol or acetone (nail polish remover) to the stain and rub gently.

Machine wash with detergent or hand wash.

Water-based whiteboard marker:

Rinse the back with cold water to rinse out the pigment.

Apply white vinegar or baking soda paste and let sit for 10 minutes before washing.

Note: Test in an inconspicuous area first to avoid damaging the fabric.
